Dogs stay in their own individual spaces and all rooms are indoors in our heated/air conditioned buildings. Also available are our VIP Suites which include bedding, playtime, treats, heated floors and modernized ventilation systems. All of our rooms are comfortable and climate controlled. Our VIP Suites are ideal for families with multiple dogs, puppies, and dogs in their golden years.
For your convenience, we do not require that you provide your own food when your pet comes to stay with us although we do recommend it.
Here at Lake Forest Kennel Club, we serve Exceed Lamb & Rice Premium Adult Kibble to our dogs at NO CHARGE. Our food is of the highest quality.
We will maintain special dietary needs, per your request, at no additional charge. Every dog has a custom care card for their stay and owner’s instructions are followed to a T.
All dogs receive nutritious treats (unless otherwise specified by the owner) as rewards for good behavior, after play-time, and before we say goodnight.All of our canine guests are required to have the following vaccinations:

Our cattery is separate from our dog boarding areas and is located in a bright spacious room with outside air ventilation and heating/air conditioning. Each cat apartment has a litter box, food, water, and warm bedding. Cats are let out daily to stretch, play, and explore the cat room.
We serve Purina Indoor Cat Formula or similar quality food. Fancy Feast available for $2.00/day upgrade.All of our feline guests are required to have the following vaccinations:

Our boarding Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Birds and other special pets are kept separate from our cat and dog boarders. We ask that your pet comes with its own housing and replacement bedding as well as ample food. We do not provide pellets or seed.
We will administer all medication(s) for your pet as directed by pet owner and/or the veterinarian. There is a minimal fee for doing so, as we must carefully monitor and record the administration of any medication or vitamin we give an animal, even if it is pre-bagged with food by the owner. Our staff is trained to properly administer all types of medications.
Front desk personnel are specifically trained to check pets in and release them to their owners at the end of a stay. The office staff is here during specific hours and our drop off and pick up times are based upon these hours of operation:
